2006-2010 M6

After a long hiatus, BMW revived the M6 nameplate for the 2006 model year. It was available in the US as a coupe from 2006-2010 (E63), and as a convertible from 2007-2010 (E64). It shared the same V10 engine as the E60 M5, producing an amazing 500hp. In most cars power was routed to the rear wheels via a 6 speed SMG transmission, but a very small number of M6’s were equipped with a true 6 speed manual transmission.
